This sport challenge is part of the LYP SOLIDARITY CHALLENGE and has a solidarity purpose in which the participants contribute their efforts to obtain kilograms of food with the kilometres they cover.


To register your activities, you can use any of the following apps: STRAVA, ENDOMONDO, POLAR FLOW, GARMIN CONNECT, SUUNTO, FITBIT, RUNTASTIC, ORUXMAPS, NIKE RUN or HEALTH FIT, connecting them previously to LYP as explained in the challenge instructions.


JOIN the challenge and stay tuned for the countdown to start your activities. Only activities recorded between the start and end dates of the challenge are valid.


Remember that when saving the activity in your app you have to select the activity as INLINE SKATING.


Once your activity is completed, don’t forget to save it, it will automatically be uploaded to LYP.


You can upload SEVERAL ACTIVITIES as long as they have been done between the start and end date of the challenge.


When the countdown is over, no more activities can be uploaded and the provisional winner of the challenge will be announced.


The administrators will CHECK the activities performed by all the participants, they will be entitled to request tracks, screenshots, etc, having the right to declare the game of any player void, if alterations in the activities are found.

Join the challenge

Click on the “Join the Challenge” button. You will need to enter your username and password if you have not previously logged in to your LYP account.

Record your activities with your favourite app according to the challenge rules

Remember that you have to select the activity according to the rules of the event: running, cycling, walking, hiking or in-line skating.

Please note that if you don’t use STRAVA you have to synchronize your app with Strava so that the activities can submit to LYP. Please check each app’s page to find out.

  1. To participate you need to have an account in LYP and join the challenge within the stated provided period.
  2. By joining this challenge all players acknowledge they have read, understood and agreed with all rules.
  3. Start and challenge end times represent Madrid local time: (UTC + 1) in winter CET and (UTC + 2) in summer CEST.
  4. Any form of cheating, game mechanics abuse or unsportsmanlike behaviour may result in the player disqualification or even the closure of their LYP account by the administrators.
    Punishable unsportsmanlike conduct includes, but is not limited to, tracks tampering, cheating with the type of activity performed when recording a route, using different means than those provided in the rules to perform the activity, altering speeds, times, distances or heights, etc.
  5. Rules may change at any time so check them frequently. Changes will be marked by placing an asterisk (*) next to the updated rule.
  6. The user is not allowed to share with any other person the account information stored on LYP. This includes but is not limited to the following: usernames, passwords, email accounts, etc. In the event that another person accesses your account, you may be disqualified from the event and removed from LYP.
  7. The administrators will CHECK the activities performed by all the participants and will be entitled to request tracks, screenshots, etc, having the right to declare the game of any player void, if alterations in the activities are found.
  8. Failure to comply with the rules will result in the loss of the challenge.
  9. LYP is not responsible for any potential misuse that users of the web platform and the apps used to compete. Likewise, it’s not responsible for any accidents that may occur during the games.
  10. By using external sports applications to the games developed by LYP, the participant accepts the terms and conditions of use of these applications. LYP only collects data related to the distance and the date (s) of activities performed between the start and end dates of the challenge.
  11. LYP rejects all responsibility in case of injury, accident or any other damages which could suffer any participant during his challenge.
  12. Participants are reminded that the LYP Solidarity Challenge takes place during the current coronavirus health crisis (COVID-19) and it is understood that participants will respect the health and social distancing measures imposed by the different Authorities and Governments that are applicable in the areas where the activities take place. LYP declines all responsibility in the event of non-compliance with these measures.
  13. Donations made from this challenge’s website are made directly to the Operation Kilo online platform of the Fundación Banco de Alimentos de Madrid, a non-profit charity whose aim is to obtain free food to be distributed among charitable organisations dedicated to assistance.



  1. Games will take place according to the start and end dates provided on the LYP page related to the specific challenge.
  2. The activity must be performed and saved based on the stated challenge rules (ride, run, walk, hike or inline skate).
  3. The scoring criteria is defined on the challenge general information (distance, speed, altitude, etc).
  4. Once you record your activities with your favorite app, they will be uploaded to the server and the scores will appear in the challenge page Ranking.
  5. For those challenges where the scoring criteria is the accumulated distance or altitude, several activities may be added as long as they have been undertaking within the challenge interval.
  6. The WINNER of each challenge will be announced on this website.
  7. If a draw, the winner will be the player who first submit his score to LYP.



  1. LYP will send participants who have passed the challenge an honorary certificate.
